It’s been an Italian love story for this Sammie special today.
Chef was craving some mortadella, and thought “I can make that.” Then the amazing growers from @knuckledownfarm popped by and offered us over 20lbs of eggplant.
Chef thought. “What better condiment for a mortadella Sammy than pickled eggplant spread?”
Thus the beginning of a tasty Sammy.
Paired with some house made ricotta and mozzerella. Blended smooth for a cheesy shmear on Birthday Boy Braden’s bomb Foccacia.
Now thats amore ๐ฅฐ๐ฎ๐น

Paired with a fall apple& Chicken Sammy
Orange cheddar, caramelized onion spread, sliced chicken breasts, bacon, and shredded honey crisp apples again from the awesome @campbells.orchards picked out fresh by our wee ones yesterday tossed in a honey Dijon & apple cider vinaigrette. ๐๐
